No Coventry, Lanzini or Yarmalenko from the first game. Thats going to make a difference. Although it was actually Coventry that was missed the most IMO. Against Arsenal he was at the centre of everything we did with the ball and also great at closing, getting a foot in etc. when we didnt have it.
I watched him in pre-season, he is ready for the step up. Not sure how effective he will be but his passing is excellent, especially at pace and under pressure but he can move and has an engine so is a better option than old man Nobes now. That said, Noble's experience is still something we might need from time to time. Useful if we could bring him on when we get a penalty. :-)

Saw it fm 2-1.
Moved well as a unit and some decent moves, but their chins dropped and got muscled out of it by the smaller side, after the third went in.
It’s more experience for em though.

good game though. Played pretty well first half but seemed to run out of steam second half. Not the best night for the defence. They'll learn from it.
